Bios: Jennifer Jolly (keys, melodica, percussion, composer) is a long-time Jazzschool instructor specializing in North American, Caribbean, and African roots music. She currently performs with The Jolly Gibsons, Pamela RoseÕs Blues is a Woman, Jennifer Jolly & Friends, Zulu Spear, Kotoja, Big B & His Snake Oil Saviors, Bait & Switch, The Party Monsters, Tom Rigney & Flambeau (sub), Michelle Jacques (guest), and churches and choruses. Previous credits include Phil Lesh, Barbara Dane, James Nash, Rusty Zinn, and Hot Links. Jennifer teaches at The Jazzschool, Cazadero Family Camp, Jazzschool WomenÕs Jazz & Blues Camp, after-school programs, workshops, and her private studio. Steve Gibson (guitar, composer) is renowned in the Bay Area for his masterful jazz, rock, and blues guitar chops. He's performed at many Northern California clubs and festivals, including the High Sierra Music Festival and the San Jose Jazz Festival. His recording "Sunday" was featured by the Augustino Dance Theatre Company. In 1993 he co-founded Bandworks, which provides opportunities for children and adults to learn to play music as a band. Steve has taught at Cazadero Family Camp, worked in London as a musical director, conducted band workshops in Dublin (Ireland), and contributed to Guitar Player magazine. Steve currently performs with The Jolly Gibsons, Funk Revival Orchestra, Michelle Jacques, Jennifer Jolly & Friends, and others. Mark Bernfield (drums) has been playing drums professionally in the Bay Area for the past twenty years with numerous jazz, funk, and rock ensembles, and maintains a busy private drum teaching practice. Mark teaches 6th-8th grade music at Redwood Day School in Oakland, where he also directs the jazz and rock band programs. Since 2001, Mark has also been the music director of East Bay Harmony, a community a cappella chorus.Dave Fischer (bass) performs regularly with Eclair de Lune (gypsy jazz), Douce Ambiance (gypsy jazz/swing), and Greenwood News (original rock). Jean Fineberg is an award-winning saxophonist/flutist, drummer, composer, and bandleader (Montclair Women's Big Band, JAZZphoria, The Party Monsters).
