Enjoy big band vocalist Pastor Frank Salamone of Dixon Cornerstone Church, vocalist Pete Ayers, Fairfield Civic Theater’s Barbara McFadden, and outstanding local musicians performing with Alive Music Orchestra of memorable popular Christmas songs, as well as Keith Stout’s musical family.
As it has in years past, the Alive Music Orchestra show incorporates an American tradition originally founded by Bob Hope’s USO Christmas tours overseas, honoring and entertaining our troops. “We always include a special dedication to our troops and their families, praying for a safe return home,” says Stout, an Air Force “brat” whose father served in Vietnam, “That’s something we feel strongly about, especially during the Christmas season.”
The show will include host and Alive Music Orchestra vocalist Pastor, Frank Salamone encouraging families about love, peace and the miracle of Christmas especially, enlight of these uncertain times and unrest.
The Alive Music Orchestra Christmas show will celebrate almost three decades of Christmas productions and will be recognizing Alive Music Orchestra musicians, vocalist, actors, and support staff serving and or have served the community for many years.
The Vaca Jazz Society thanks their dedicated sponsors, military and civilian volunteers for making 2018 a successful year, helping to “Save Our Music”city-wide festival locations and youth music camps supported by Solano CountymLibrary-Vacaville Town Square, City of Vacaville and the USAF Band of the Golden West musicians from Travis AFB.
Alive Music Orchestra will accept a love offering donations at the end of the program, which proceeds go towards the Vaca Jazz Society’s “Free” weekly Youth Music Camps successfully directed by Mr. Mike Williams, Ret USAF formerly from USAF Band of the Golden West at Travis AFB.
