Sutter Creek Theatre

The venue comfortably seats 215 people, and is renowned for its excellent acoustics and intimate seating. To traveling artists and theater groups we offer sound engineering and lighting support. The theatre building is also home to Caffe Intermezzo, at 42 Main, our caffe serving individually hand prepared espresso and coffee from organic coffee beans roasted by one of the west coast's premier roasters. We make our own gelato (Italian ice cream - richer and more flavorful) and we have a great assortment of panini sandwiches. We also have the best kept secret in the county - authentic war won ton soup, great chow mein, pot stickers and kung pao chicken. The theatre also houses our wine bar at 46 Main, open when we have performances, serving the finest local wines and a few select beers.

The Theatre also supports local non-profit fund raising events for the Amador County Arts Council, Amador High School Drama Club, Sutter Creek Elementary School, the Amador School Arts Council, Operation CARE, and many others.
