“Flying High” returns to Birdland in a new tribute to some of the most unforgettable jazz canaries. Dinah Washington, Jo Stafford, Anita O’Day, Billie Holiday, and others started in big bands and went on to well-known soloist careers. Now some of today's most swinging vocalists bring new life to the sounds and styles made famous by these trailblazing women of jazz.
