The music we play is mostly classic jazz & swing from the Great American Songbook along with some funk, blues, island & Latin styles like bossa nova, samba, calypso and reggae. Many of the songs are classics by composers and musicians like Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Sonny Rollins, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Stan Getz, Louis Armstrong, Thelonius Monk, the Beatles, Nora Jones and more. The list goes on and on so you never know what we might pull out of our hat. Songs are called out on the spot, arrangements can be on the fly and it’s never the same set list from week to week. It’s loose, it’s flexible and it’s fun.
