"get Out Of Town" This Spring! at California Center for the Arts

Jazz at the Ballroom present "Get Out of Town," a swinging country-wide tour through classic jazz and the American Songbook.

The birthplace of the Songbook was New York, but that didn't stop musicians from creating a catalogue of memorable tunes about other cities. It's a show of recognizable standards, with a dozen stops in cities and places that have made a name for themselves in the Songbook.

The variety show features special guest Niki Haris ("The Big Voice" behind Madonna), Adrian Cunningham (Australia's "Down Under Sax Star"), Olivia Chindamo (The Julliard School's first jazz graduate of Masters Degree in Jazz Voice in 2021), backed by bandleader/pianist Konrad Paszkduzki, drummer Ryan Shaw (Michael Bublé, Seth McFarlane), and Alex Frank (youngest member of Jeff Goldblum's Mildred Snitzer Orchestra)....
