Heliotrope plays authentic arrangements of the music that was popular at the dawn of the Jazz Age -- Ragtime, Oriental Foxtrots, One-Steps, and more. Expect to see dancers "Walkin' The Dog" and attired in vintage finery when HRO performs. This was also the popular music of the day when the 1915 Panama-California Exhibition took place in Balboa Park.
