Following the release of their debut album “The Way On Up,” The Applebrown Jazz Ensemble will be having their official cd release concert at Dizzy’s on Friday, October 10th. The concert will feature music from the new album as well other music that Sundy has composed for the group. The concert will be begin at 8pm and admission will be 15$, and 10$ for students.
Formed in August 2007, The Applebrown Jazz Ensemble is the brainchild of composer/multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Sundy. Blending a variety of styles (e.g. jazz, rock, funk, noise, circus music), The Applebrown Jazz Ensemble plays an eclectic mix of wacky, sentimental, and energetic original jazz music....
