After a six month musical odyssey in Brazil, clarinetist/saxophonist Stefanie Schmitz has returned with newly inspired material. Stefanie specializes in choro, a style of lively Brazilian jazz from the 1920's, which she plays with her local group, Choro Sotaque. Come join her for an evening of choro, samba, jazz, and stories involving Carnaval, culture, and caipirinhas.

Stefanie will be accompanied by jazz trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos, Choro Sotaque (Marcus Alcantarilla - guitar, Joe Amato - guitar, Halysson Silva - percussion), and other special guests.
