The quartet will play several old standards and several originals -- many of which are quite new. Most of the old standards have been dressed up a bit for this occasion. Charlie, one of most wonderful voices on reeds in the Bay Area and renowned for decades, has a terrific rhythm section lined up for the date, with David Udolf on piano, Curtis Aikens on bass and Akira Tana on drums.
