Now, 40 years later Feat of Clay will present new arrangements of the music from that ECM recording, music from Torn, Bruford and Levin’s subsequent album “Upper Extremities”, and original compositions by McKibben, Castro Woodhouse, Dahlman and Smith. Selections include “Snapping the Hollow Reed”, “Previous Man”, “3 Minutes of Pure Entertainment”, Original Sin” and “Presidents Day”. For this performance the quartet will also employ some of the latest technology in musical instruments; 7 and 9 string basses, Zendrum EXP, loop stations, Roland guitar synthesizers and digital effects. Their self-titled upcoming album will be released in late Summer of 2020.
