Guitarist/composer Allen Hinds offers a musical blend of jazz, blues, and rock with a “grassroots” style, utilizing influences ranging from Wayne Shorter to the Beatles, Duane Allman to Alan Holdsworth. On staff at Musician’s Institute, he has performed and/or recorded with jazz and R&B luminaries including Randy Crawford, Roberta Flack, The Crusaders, Bobby Caldwell, Boney James, and many, many others. Being an active studio musician as well as live performer, he has written songs for Larry Carlton, Patti Austin, Jeff Kashiwa as well as many new cable t.v. shows.. “Duck Dynasty”, “Pawn Stars”, “Build it Bigger”, “Son’s of Gun”..just to name a few....

His all-star band includes, bassist Jervonny Collier from the Bruce Hornsby band; drummer Dave Hooper has been a staple in most every "smooth jazz" band from Dave Koz to John Tesh; and keyboardist Matt Rohde was with Alaniss Morisette for years..now does the American Idol t.v show.
