The Brubeck Brothers have been making music together all their lives. Cutting their first album in 1966, Drummer Dan and bassist-trombonist-composer Chris have explored a variety of styles with their father, jazz giant Dave Brubeck; as sidemen in other groups; and more recently with their own Brubeck Brothers Quartet. All About Jazz says, “The Brubeck Brother Quartet attains that rarefied level where music is both relaxed and expressive, and their joy in its creation is contagious. There’s nothing out there that comes close to their unique blend of inventiveness.” Returning to the Bach for the first time since 2009, we’re in for a treat!
