Possessing a deep, velvety voice, rhythmic poise, and a good feel for the blues, heralded young jazz singer Cécile McLorin¬-Salvant returns after her smash debut at last year’s SFJAZZ Festival. Since winning the 2010 Thelonious Monk International Vocals Competition, Salvant has been on a steady ascent, working with Jacky Terrasson and Wynton Marsalis.
