Featuring performances by the Oakland Future Trio Youth Ensemble, an improvisation between Melford and YBCA’s Chief of Program and Pedagogy and renowned spoken word poet, Marc Bamuthi Joseph, and more! We will end with a Jazz@YBCA jam with Marcus Shelby, John Schott, and others. This special jam is open to audience participation.
