Trumpeter and Trinidad native, Etienne Charles returns to the Bach with his wonderful sextet, Creole Soul. Charles infuses reggae, Calypso and Afro-Caribbean music into a distinctive version of modern jazz. He has already several albums including the highly regarded Creole Soul, which while steeped in the jazz tradition, delivered a unique spin on Creole-oriented tunes, including covers from past masters ranging from Bob Marley to Thelonious Monk.
