Celebrated Bay Area vocalist, educator, and recording artist Gail Dobson brings her band and musical dynasty to open our 2016 Spring Series. The first set celebrates the music of her new album, "How Fragile We Are," including new material and arrangements of songs written by Sting, Herbie Hancock, Billie Holiday and Miles Davis. The second set showcases the Dobson/Muribus songbook featuring Gail’s daughter Sasha Dobson on vocals and guitar, brother Martan Mann on piano, and multi-talented son, Smith Dobson V, on saxophone. Sasha will also be previewing material from her upcoming CD.
