A rising star on Barcelona’s fervently creative jazz scene, Italian-born bassist Giulia Valle honed her jazz chops in New York City with American masters. She’s released a string of excellent sessions showcasing her commanding bass work and nuanced compositions, and makes her Bay Area debut with her prodigious quintet featuring some of Spain’s most fiery players.
