Original interpretations of jazz and great American songbook standards in a straight-ahead jazz style, but in an instrumental format that can’t be described as standard or straight ahead. A new twist that provides a tonal color rarely heard in mainstream jazz, with the inclusion of electro-acoustic mandolin along with drums, bass, and guitar.
