Jazz Mafia is collaborating with the renowned Hogan Brothers to present an ambitious tribute to one of jazz’s most iconic contributors, Herbie Hancock. Adam Theis, Daniel Casares, along with Colin, Julian, and Steve Hogan, will perform Herbie’s “Thrust” and “Head Hunters” in their entirety. Both albums were recorded in San Francisco, with “Head Hunters” in 1973 and “Thrust” in 1974, and are definitive Jazz-Funk masterpieces that have influenced generations of musicians.
