A uniquely gifted young pianist from Bali, Joey Alexander taught himself to play piano by listening with his father to classic jazz albums. His father soon recognized that his son's gift to grasp complicated musical concepts was beyond someone of his years. His recording debut, My Favorite Things, was nominated as Best Instrumental Jazz Album for the 2016 Grammy® Awards. This performance will feature original compositions and jazz classics by Coltrane, Monk and more. All ages must have a ticket. Children under 6 years not permitted. No video or audio recording of any kind allowed.
