Mae Powell is a Bay Area based songstress and jazz singer. Mae began her vocal jazz career in 2016 when she was asked to join the house band at Amnesia. She sang there weekly until its closure in 2020, and it gave her a chance to connect with the local jazz scene and compile a tune list that was shaped by both the players around her and the energy of San Francisco. She has been playing both original music and jazz around the bay since then, and now has a jazz residency at Woods in San Francisco. You can find her singing jazz, spinning vinyl, or playing her original music with her 5 piece band
