By the release of Silent Pictures 1st full length LP "Under Exposed" in 2013, both drummer Dave Conrad (The Odd Numbers) & guitarist Jafar Green had joined the band. Silent Pictures 2nd LP "Let It Begin" was released in 2016 with a roster of noteworthy producers & engineers such as Dave Schiffman (Tom Petty) Joe Foster (The Jesus and Mary Chain) John Fryer (Cocteau Twins, Depeche Mode). The band then approached Peter Dosanjh of In Letter Form to join on bass to solidify the lineup. After some critical acclaim, several shows & festival appearances opening for Dinosaur Jr., The Kills, The Dandy Warhols, Moon Duo, Teenage Fanclub, Ringo Deathstarr, Dead Meadow, Lumerians, Little Barrie, Sloan, Alan Parsons, Cat Power; then Silent Pictures began releasing new singles starting in 2020 for "Daydreams & Delusions" the 3rd LP currently only on Bandcamp as of 2024. Silent Pictures sound has been described as a mélange of shoegaze influences as well as Roxy Music "Beachy reverb-jangle"-Deli SF "Bay Area outfit Silent Pictures channel David Bowie, Roxy Music, The Psychedelic Furs, The London Suede and Blur with aplomb 1 and then some." -Power of 2 PopMinds Without a Face—Oakland-based band of working stiff, post-punk sentimentalists.Agness Twin—Agness Twin is a musical artist from California. Genre styles range from alternative, post-punk, ambient folk, and alternative rock. Fresh off her performances as the guitarist/backing vocalist for Vinsantos on the Love and Rockets reunion tour of 2023 she completed and released her long awaiting EP Turn To Gold in the beginning of 2024. "In The Dark" is the stand out single that lures you into an unfamiliar ride through nostalgia. Her custom,double-neck electric 12-string/six-string guitar gives her a & unique sound with velvet vocal layers, enigmatic ringing guitars, all arranged with modern elegance. This hypnotic, genre-defying sound will appeal to anyone lurking beneath the mainstream.
