The Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center 18-Piece Big Band, John Stephens, Conductor, will accompany Ms. Morrison at this presentation of "I Wanna Be Loved: The Stories of Dinah Washington, Queen of The Blues in The 1950s" at Yoshi's San Francisco.

Actor, jazz vocalist, and Emmy Award-winning journalist, Mr. Jay Jackson, will portray Brook Benton, American singer/songwriter and Dinah Washington's musical collaborator in "I Wanna Be Loved." Mr. Jay Jackson is known nationwide as the quirky Perd Hapley on NBC's sitcom, "Parks and Recreation," and from his own highly regarded webisode spinoff, "The Hapley Group." Jay is regularly seen on ABC's popular drama, 'Scandal.'
