Dominick Farinacci, “A trumpeter of abundant poise,” New York Times, opens our 2016 Fall series. Recently featured in Vanity Fair, Dominick was named the very first Global Ambassador to Jazz at Lincoln Center by Wynton Marsalis. After graduating from Juilliard, Dominick’s career took off with a prolific run of albums. His most recent release, Short Stories, was produced by four-time Grammy winning legend Tommy LiPuma on the Mack Avenue label. This latest album showcases songs from Tom Waits, Horace Silver, Dianne Reeves, and the Gypsy Kings, along with original compositions.
