Singer/musician Fred Ross knows how to gather great musicians and stir up the house. This is the fifth year Pete Douglas has invited Fred and his current Project back- saying- "It's fantastic funk; tight- gotta move music." Fred has recorded with Aretha Franklin- members of Tower of Power- Santana- Chaka Kahn- the Commodores- and more- Toured US & Europe with Everyday People- and Fred Wesley of the James Brown Band. His band is notorious for their tributes to favorites like Sly Stone and James Brown. And he always brings us a surprise guest artist to keep the dance floor hopping. After a first set of fine jazz- we clear the center chairs and boogie down to some Soul/Funk/Blues.
