Howard Wiley has toured internationally, recorded and performed with artists including Lauryn Hill, Sheila E, Cory Henry, Christian McBride, Chester Thompson & more. Born in Berkeley, California, Howard Wiley displayed a unique musical talent from a very young age, while performing at his local Gospel church. “The first time I picked up the saxophone, it became a part of me. I knew I had found my purpose.”
Music found featured vocalist Martin Luther McCoy at a young age, too. Steeped in gospel music from his childhood in the church, San Francisco native McCoy began songwriting at six, influenced by a mighty collection of iconic artists including Sam Cooke, Bill Withers, and Parliament/Funkadelic. Martin’s gorgeous tenor voice has captivated the hearts of audiences worldwide: rising to international attention for his work with The Roots, Cody ChesnuTT, Dave Matthews, Jill Scott, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Zion I, McCoy is perhaps best known for his on-screen role as the Jimi Hendrix inspired character “Jo-Jo” and his iconic cover of George Harrison’s “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” in director Julie Taymor’s Oscar-nominated 2007 Beatles tribute film Across the Universe. He's got an unwavering & unbelievable voice that can bring you to tears AND get you on the dance floor- or both!...
