Since 2005 Ian has released three CDs with his group, "Sink/Swim", "Contextualizin'", and "Roads & Codes", each moving further away from hard bop head-solo-head conventions, and into longer forms tailored to the soloists.
His latest release is a new four-movement suite, titled "Interview Music".
