This Keys performance features the core group of Jazz Mafia, which regularly performs at our monthly residencies and represents the closest we get to straight-ahead jazz within our diverse range of projects. The group will reimagine the music of two iconic, rule-breaking American artists: Miles Davis and Charles Mingus. Both musicians revolutionized jazz with their bold and unconventional approaches, pushing boundaries and defying norms. In this project, we explore ambitious new arrangements of their classic material, blending timeless jazz with Jazz Mafia’s signature energy and innovation.
