A2017/2018 YoungArts winner, Julian was selected to take part in The Berklee Global Jazz Institute Workshop at the Newport Jazz Festival. He was given an honorable mention from the Grammy Foundation in 2018, and has received 4 Downbeat Awards

Julian is a graduate of the Denver School of the Arts, and currently attends the San Francisco Conservatory of Music on scholarship.
