Moncef Genoud at The Additon

Moncef Genoud, one of the premiere composers/pianists at the forefront of the European jazz vanguard, will make a long-awaited return after a six year absence to the West Coast for a series of special dates in Los Angeles and San Francisco in July, 2012. The Swiss piano virtuoso will be accompanied by Andy Barron on drums (Manu Katche, Kenny Werner, John Scofield) and Banz Oester on bass (Michael Brecker, Joe Lovano, Malcolm Braff). The trio will perform compositions from Moncef’s last two acclaimed albums “Aqua” (Savoy Jazz, 2006) and “Metissage (2011).
