Bay Area Bridges - Five Album Release!
RDL+ releases a 5 album set featuring compositions written during their 4-year Bay Area Bridge Series at Studio Grand, focused on original composition and collaboration. Led by Doug Lee (bass), Ruthie Dineen (piano), and Luis Salcedo (guitar), the trio moves from solo to large ensemble based on artistic inspiration.
The group is focused on writing and playing original compositions, while taking both lyrical and open improvisations on the pieces. While maintaining an aesthetic stemming from traditional jazz, the group experiments with odd meters, timbre, form, and melodic ideas.
