“Resonance Jazz Ensemble Premieres Fearless Force Concert at SFJAZZ Center”
Resonance Jazz Ensemble, the Bay Area’s unique jazz octet premieres new works in their "Fearless Force" concert.
Resonance,a rich fusion of orchestral and big band sounds, performs new work and arrangements of jazz standards including Dave Brubeck, Billie Holliday & Sting. Instead of singers up front, five female instrumentalists dominate the front line.
Resonance band members have performed with Dizzy Gillespie, Jethro Tull, Mingus Amungus, California Pops Orchestra, & more.
