JAZZ CLUB - Tribute to Bishop Norman Williams, BJ Papa and Vince Wallace
Celebrating three musicians, now passed on, who were huge influences on the Bay Area jazz scene -- alto player Bishop Norman Williams, pianist BJ Papa and tenor player Vince Wallace -- bassist Heshima Mark Williams welcomes reed player Bay Area expat Michael Marcus (now based in NYC) and drummer Art Lewis (New Orleans raised, with a long SF tenure and a significant NYC interlude in the 1980s downtown loft jazz scene).
