Rising saxophone star Ben Flocks has earned critical acclaim performing at the Bern, Umbria, and Monterey Jazz Festivals. He has performed with Joshua Redman, and toured with Dave Brubeck as a Brubeck Institute Fellow in 2007. A native of Santa Cruz, Flocks grew up immersed in music, attended the Stanford Jazz Workshop (where he now teaches), and also studied with Cabrillo College jazz instructor Ray Brown.
