BLACK OLIVE JAZZ
20th Century Jazz & Standards Classics
Black Olive Jazz features stunning vocals and a rhythm section powered by the San Francisco Bay Area’s top jazz musicians. Vocalist Kay Andreas (Kostopoulos) is also a professional actress and director who teaches in the Drama Department and Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. She sings several languages, and plays percussion and finger cymbals. An elegant singer whose voice is inspired by the golden age of jazz, Kay pays homage to the music of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Peggy Lee and Anita O'Day.
