One of the living legends of jazz, alto saxophonist Charles McPherson has been a sideman with some of the greatest artists in the history of the music, as well as an influential group leader and composer. Charles’ sound is the very definition of jazz; his masterful playing represents bebop at its highest evolution. Steeped in the tradition, his band of Jeb Patton, Yotam Silberstein, David Wong, and Chuck McPherson support Charles effortlessly.
