Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke join with Jack DeJohnette, a recipient of the NEA's 2012 Jazz Master Award, to celebrate the esteemed drummer/composer's 70th birthday. Corea (also a recipient of the NEA Jazz Master Award) and DeJohnette first performed together in 1968 at the start of Miles Davis' electric phase. Stanley Clarke was a 19-year-old bass prodigy when he appeared on Corea's first Return to Forever recordings in the early '70s, an association that has been revived in recent years.
