At 13, Chris Potter played like Bird. At 18 he was onstage with Red Rodney, dazzling New Yorkers and subsequently playing with the most creative innovators in music, from Dave Holland to Steely Dan. Now with one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary jazz and hugely successful leading his own band, Chris gives the Stanford Jazz Festival a rare treat by performing this special show with Eric Harland, Larry Grenadier, Larry Koonse, and Brian Lynch.
