NEA Jazz Master Jimmy Cobb is one of the most 'listened to' drummers in recorded jazz – thanks to his playing on Mile Davis' Kind of Blue; he also performed on some of guitar legend Wes Montgomery's best albums. Joey DeFrancesco, another Miles Davis alumnus, is an extraordinary organist and the acknowledged heir to Jimmy Smith's Hammond B-3 legacy.
