John Shifflett Tribute Jam at Cafe Stritch

Tonight we will pay tribute to our dear friend and musical cohort, John Shifflett. Café Stritch was a place John loved and played regularly - his notes are in the walls!
Many people across the Bay Area and beyond have a musical or personal connection to John. We hope you will come and share some stories and music.
Some people have asked to perform a special piece in John’s honor. If you have something in mind, please let me know and I will try to program it. Later in the evening, we will open up the jam.
The house band will include Jason Lewis on drums, Dahveed Behroozi on piano, and Josh Thurston-Milgrom on bass, with Scott Sorkin joining later....

A small cover charge/donation will be requested at the door, proceeds to benefit "Hospice of the Valley" in San Jose, an organization that does much for patients and their loved ones.
