Local & Live: an Evening with Stan Poplin at Kuumbwa Jazz Center

Stan Poplin has been a mainstay on the Santa Cruz music scene since 1975. One of the most respected bassists on the West Coast, he has performed with some of the giants of jazz, including Bobby Hutcherson and Dave Brubeck. Equally at home with classical music, he is active in chamber ensembles, the Monterey Symphony, and New Music Works.
