Bassist Mark Helias, drummer Gerry Hemingway and trombonist Ray Anderson have been performing together since 1977 with their first album released on Auricle Records in 1979. Their head-turning, wide-ranging sound showcases a near elastic give-and-take between the three members, all of whom support each other interchangeably.
