Born and raised in Amsterdam, Holland, Marc van Wageningen started playing bass guitar at the age of 16. He moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1980 and started playing with jazz greats Eddie Marshall, George Marshall, Larry Schneider and Mel Martin. Over the years, Marc has had the opportunity to play with numerous musicians including: Pete Escovedo, Mark Murphy, Francisco Aquabella, Keiko Matsui, Luis Conte, Cornelius Bumpus, George Duke, David Garibaldi, Stan Getz, Esther Phillips, Paul Winters, Diane Reeves, Andy Narell, Sheila E. and many more....
