Legendary guitarist Dick Dale said, "Maxx Cabello, Jr., is a name you are going to remember!” This amazing young guitarist, soulful vocalist, and prolific songwriter, hails from the streets of the San Francisco Bay area where he is attracting the attention of the most jaded veteran musicians and music aficionados. Cabello has opened for greats such as Earth, Wind, and Fire; John Lee Hooker; Ozomatli; Roy Rogers; Tommy Castro; and the alternative group Third Eye Blind. Spanning Blues, Soul and R&B, his latest CD, My Love, was released on Valentine’s Day, 2011. Cabello performed at our very own San Jose Jazz Winter Fest this past March, and opened this year's Summer Fest as our Facebook contest winner.
