In this concert Michelle Pollace and her band of stellar musicians highlight Pollace's critically acclaimed compositions and arrangements, as well as explore the influence of legendary pianist McCoy Tyner's influence in her work. McCoy Tyner helped forge the modal jazz sound, his trademark sound appearing on John Coltrane's "My Favorite Things" and other Coltrane albums in the early 60s, and he's released more than 70 albums on his own.
