Featuring Perry Smith, John Storie and Jeff Stein, New West Guitar Group has been making their mark as a fresh, cutting-edge guitar ensemble. This Los Angeles-based group combines the foundation of jazz with elements of blues, rock and folk. Their most recent album Round Trip Ticket was released for Summit Records in October 2011. The project combines the rich qualities of the acoustic and electric guitar to create the signature sound of New West. The album reached number 28 on the national jazz charts and continues to be featured on NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered.
