Her String Land group features Deby Benton Grosjean – violin, Kristen Strom – saxophone, Scott Sorkin – guitar and John R. Burr – piano. When she is not touring, Bratt is usually teaching music. A strong advocate for music education, she has been named Kuumbwa’s Artist-in-Residence for 2012 – 2013. Her latest CD, A Slice of Summer, features an inventive mix of original, jazz-influenced compositions and traditional folk.
