Now in its 14th season, the San Jose Jazz High School All Stars feature some of the Bay Area’s most gifted young musicians. Representing ten high schools and led by Dr. Aaron Lington, the audition-based big band challenges students to gain a mastery of improvisation techniques while advancing their knowledge of music theory, arranging, composition, performance, and Jazz history.
This will be one of the first concerts with the 2013-2014 High School All Stars.
