A DownBeat Rising Star, New York-based Dayna Stephens has a sound of singular warmth and beauty that has been recognized and requested by artists with whom he’s toured and recorded, such as Eric Harland, Brad Mehldau, Fred Hersch, Kenny Barron, Roy Hargrove, Wayne Shorter, and many others. He’s also a hometown hero, having practically grown up at the SJW Jazz Camp, and tonight he reunites with some of his favorite SJW family onstage.
